Six years around the world.
Worked in eight countries, traveled to forty. I like to go slow. I want to know the baker, the guy who runs the corner bar, the rhythm of a neighborhood before the sun is fully up.
My best memories aren't from the postcard spots. It's the night I spent in a crumbling watchtower on a remote stretch of the Great Wall, staring at the stars. It's seeing the Great Barrier Reef from the seat of a sea plane. The sheer scale of it hitting you all at once. It's a night in a Berber camp in the Sahara, where the wind finally died down and the quiet was absolute.
I've been mapping out trips for friends and family for years, showing them how to get past the guidebook and into the actual place. That's what this site is. No filters, no tourist traps. Just the real thing.
